Dal 10 giugno al 1 ottobre 2017 ha luogo la quinta edizione Skulptur Projekte Münster, la manifestazione più importante al mondo dedicata alla relazione tra scultura e arte pubblica nella contemporaneità. Come nelle precedenti edizioni la direzione di ques’anno spetta ancora una volta a Kasper König che n’è stato il fondatore nel 1977. König è affiancato dalle curatrici Britta Peters e Marianne Wagner. Sebbene dalla lista dei 35 artisti invitati si evidenzia, come nell’edizione del 2007, una pluralità di media scelti e modalità formali, gli artisti partecipanti – ci tengono a precisare le curatrici – sono stati scelti poiché operano esplicitamente nell’ambito dello spazio pubblico e della scultura in senso largo.
In attesa dell’opening riportiamo la lista degli artisti partecipanti e una selezioni d’immagine dei progetti in fase di preparazione in diversi spazi pubblici.
